Sydney, Australia – Knight Frank has opened an office on the New South Wales Central Coast to cater for the growing market.
The office, located at Suite 505, 1 Bryant Drive in Tuggerah will be a secondary office to Knight Frank’s existing office in Newcastle, which has until now also covered the Central Coast region.
The two will operate closely together to provide the best services covering not only the Central Coast and Newcastle, but up to Port Macquarie and Armidale.
Knight Frank Chief Executive Officer James Patterson said the Central Coast office opening marks the first physical permanent presence for a major national real estate agency in the area, let alone an agency with the global reach that Knight Frank has.
“We will be the first global real estate consultancy dedicated to providing commercial property services in the area,” he said.
“We are undertaking this expansion because this is a key growth area in New South Wales and Australia, with the local market having strengthened during COVID in line with the move towards the regions and working from home.”
Knight Frank Head of Newcastle and Central Coast Ross Cooper, who will head up both the Newcastle and new Central Coast office, said the commercial property markets in the New South Wales’ regions were growing, and there had been a noticeable increase in investor demand.
“Over the past few years people have seen Newcastle and the Central Coast as a more desirable place to live, which has led to more activity from a business and commercial perspective,” he said.
“Along with this growth, we have seen more investors looking outside the major capital cities to these regional areas.
“In the current market interest rate rises have led investors to search for stronger returns, and generally speaking they can be found in more affordable areas such as Newcastle and the Central Coast.”
Knight Frank’s new NSW Central Coast office will be a full-service agency including Agency Services, Valuations and Asset Management.
This expansion into the Central Coast sees the addition of Sales Executives including Jackson Sinclair and Laura Hering.
Knight Frank Head of Agency Newcastle and Central Coast Brent Sinclair will also be based largely in the Central Coast office.
